Whether we contribute financially, or with our time and talents, we are supporting the wider cause of spreading the gospel to those in needs. Several ministries are highlighted below that Oak Grove is blessed to be a part of. How can you help?
A Faith Promise is your yearly commitment to donate to missions. Anything you decide to give for your offering each month is sent directly to the PFWB denomination, to utilize in their mission projects. They're building churches, supporting orphanages, and more!
Crusader Youth Camp, in Dunn NC, is a safe place to "have fun, make friends, and experience God." They run week-long camps for 6 weeks during the summer. Our church kids go year after year! Consider volunteering too.
For the Children is an international organization that hosts a summer camps all over the world for foster kids. RFKC creates positive memories for kids from hard places. Volunteers come together for a week to cultivate a fun and safe space for kids to be kids. It's a life-changing experience for everyone involved. Consider volunteering!
Operation Christmas Child, by Samaritan's Purse, sends shoe-boxes filled to the brim with gifts for girls and boys worldwide! Our church members collect goodies and pack shoeboxes every year for the cause.
We are always out and about showing God's love in a tangible way, whether it's visiting people in hospitals or giving out food at food banks. There are many people in need; a small act of service from you can make a big impact in someone else's life.
